Effect Video Terms of Use & Photo Permissions

Use inputs you have permission to process. Generated results may contain mistakes. Failed generations return reserved credits.
Refunds
You can request a full refund for any credit pack or top-up within 7 calendar days of purchase, provided none of the credits from that order have been used and no generations have been started. Email hello@effect.video with your purchase details; once verified, we return the full amount paid to your original payment method and revoke the associated credits. Each user is eligible for one voluntary refund of an unused credit pack or top-up. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time to stop future renewals; payments already made for the current billing period are non-refundable, and your plan benefits stay active through the end of that cycle. If a video generation ever fails, the credits spent are automatically returned to your balance right away, which operates separately from payment refunds. Purchased and subscription credits never expire and remain yours to use anytime. These terms do not affect your rights under applicable local consumer laws. Subscription cancellation
You can cancel your subscription renewal anytime by clicking Manage Subscription in your confirmation email, or by emailing hello@effect.video with your account address. Your current plan stays active until the end of the billing period, with no further charges. All credits you earned or purchased remain in your account and never expire. Welcome plan subscriptions lose promotional pricing once cancelled.
Commercial use
Videos generated using purchased credits—including credit packs, top-ups, and paid subscription credits—include a commercial license for client projects, social media, advertising, and marketing. To the extent permitted by law, rights in your generated content belong to you. We provide this technology as-is without representations regarding AI uniqueness or copyright ownership. You retain responsibility for all source photos, portraits, voices, and audio you upload, and you must hold all necessary rights and permissions for their commercial use. Our commercial license covers the AI output and does not replace your rights in uploaded assets. You agree not to upload unlawful, infringing, or non-consensual material, or impersonate others.
